Easily control Arduino via infra-red remote control
Becoming dissatisfied with the variety of Arduino tutorials on the Internet, Instructables user "enjoyingelectronics" has published their own version that takes a different approach to other tutorials. Instead of focusing on one or two different brands of remote control, they describe how to work with any brand of remote by learning the codes received and the dealing with them. This gives the end user a variety of remotes to work with and also possible integration with an existing multiple-device remote control.
Once you've mastered infrared, controlling an Arduino to do various things is quite simple and inexpensive - so give it a go. And for more, we're on twitter and Google+, so follow us for news and product updates as well.
